How to Clean the AquaBoost Device

Cleaning & Maintenance of AquaBoost

In this lecture, learn how to properly clean your AquaBoost unit. The AquaBoost system tubes should be thoroughly flushed after every use and deep cleaned at the end of the day. If the unit is not cleaned after each use and deep cleaned at the end of the day, it could diminish its effectiveness of the system and void your warranty.

Takeaways

The AquaBoost system should be thoroughly cleaned after every use. If the unit is not cleaned after each use, it could diminish its effectiveness and void your warranty.

Basic Cleaning Steps:

  1. Remove the two tubes connected to the waste collection container, slide the container off of the unit, and empty the contents to avoid overfilling while cleaning
  2. Twist off and remove the black caps with tubes from the serum bottles. Place the original white caps back on the serum bottles. Set serum bottles aside
  3. Reattach your waste collection container and secure the tubes back to the top of the container
  4. Fill your cleaning bottle with hot distilled water if performing a flush between clients.
    1. If performing an end of day deep cleanse, fill cleaning bottle with hot water and up to 10% of vinegar.
  5. Install the hose and cap from the Serum 1 bottle to the cleaning bottle and ensure it is connected to the S1 port on the top of the machine
  6. Remove the clear tip on the handheld device and replace it with the blue tip included with your AquaBoost system.
    1. The blue cleaning tip is closed and designed to prevent leaking while flushing the system.
  7. Adjust the serum flow and pressure dials to the fully on position
  8. Turn on the S1 serum switch by pressings the button twice until it is lit up
  9. Allow the system to pull the water and vinegar mixture through the machine entirely
  10. While the S1 serum tubes are being cleaned, you can wipe down the remainder of the unit with a disinfectant wipe or proceed with additional steps necessary to flip your room
  11. Once the cleaning bottle is completely empty remove the lid and tube from the cleaning bottle. Set black cap with tube aside to air dry
  12. Drain the collection container if necessary to prevent overfilling
  13. Refill the cleaning bottle with distilled water and vinegar if performing a deep clean
  14. Place the cleaning bottle in the S3 section and connect the black cap with tube from the S3 serum port
  15. Turn on the device by clicking the S3 button twice until the light glows
  16. Allow the cleaning mixture to run through this section entirely as well
  17. Pro Tip: You may use an alcohol wipe on the metal portion of the CryoWand since this part touches the skin
  18. Once your cleaning bottle is empty, remove the lid and tube from the cleaning bottle and remove the other side of the tube from the S3 port. Set aside to air dry
  19. Remove your waste collection container, drain it, and wash with the antibacterial soap of your choice
  20. Wipe down any additional areas of the machine with a disinfecting wipe
  21. Remove the waste collection container, drain it, and wash with soap. Allow the collection container to air dry if time allows between clients or do a final deep clean and allow it to air dry at the end of the day
