Kneipp Difference

  • Intentional Ingredients: Kneipp partners with a research institute to validate their products' aromatherapeutic effects. They also omit certain ingredients in favor of natural alternatives
  • Luisenhaller Salt: Unadulterated salt extracted from a depth of 460 meters from the brine of 250-million-year-old primeval sea. Luisenhall Salt Works is the only remaining pan boiler plant in Europe

Behind the Brand

  • Founded 130 years ago by Sebastian Kneipp, a pioneer in hydrotherapy and holistic healing. His personal wellness philosophy is based on 5 basic principles: water, plants, exercise, nutrition, and balance
  • Throughout his life, Kneipp continues its heritage by providing meticulously crafted body, bathing, and skin care products that nourish, beauty, and invigorate the skin from head to toe

More than Just Products

  • The Kneipp Philosophy, which is grounded in the 5 pillars, extends beyond the products and can be implemented into every day life
  • Wellness experiences can be incorporated into your spa's service menu to encapsulate these pillars and encourage overall wellness for your guests
  • Find additional inspiration on how to incorporate these pillars in the Integration Resources on Kneipp's landing page (see link above video)

Intentional Ingredients

  • All Kneipp products are formulated to be free from: paraben, phthalates, silicones, petrolatum, paraffin, and mineral oils
  • Kneipp partners with the Wuppertal Research Institute Psyrecon for applied psychophysiology to ensure the essential oils used in their products elicit wellness responses
  • Overall, the Kneipp mission is to find the most restorative plants in nature to nourish our bodies and mind

Luisenhaller Salt

  • Pure-sourced from an ancient ocean buried 1,500 ft. below Earth's surface, Kneipp salts are uncontaminated by environmental pollutants
  • The special cave-like structure of Luisenhall deep salt allows the crystals to better absorb essential oils. In the tub, the bath dissolves and releases the active ingredients bound to it into the water
  • Kneipp salt are made of sodium chloride which is better absorbed into the skin when compared to Epsom salts (magnesium sulfate)
